President Al-Alimi Returns to interim Capital, Aden

His Excellency President Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, President of the Presidential Leadership Council, returned today, Monday, to the interim capital, Aden.
A source in the Presidential Office stated that the President of the Presidential Leadership Council, along with his fellow council members, will lead efforts to strengthen the government’s role in addressing the economic and humanitarian crisis. This crisis has been exacerbated by attacks from the Iran-backed Houthi terrorist militia on oil facilities and international shipping routes.
In this regard, His Excellency the President will hold extensive meetings with the government, political and civil entities, and relevant authorities to develop shared plans and policies aimed at strengthening the course of economic and administrative reforms supported by the international community.
The source also praised the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates in helping the state fulfill its essential commitments and in thwarting the terrorist militia’s plans to plunge the country into a full-scale humanitarian crisis.
Additionally, the source commended the efforts of council members present inside the country, who are working to assess citizens’ needs, facilitate government and local authorities’ operations, address challenges, and fulfill the priorities of the current phase.
