Leadership Council Chairman receives Colonel Saleh and Captain Afash, , after their release from Houthi prisons.

  Riyadh:

His Excellency Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Council, along with Council members Tariq Saleh and Abd Al-Rahman Al-Mahrami, received Colonel Mohammed Mohammed Abdullah Saleh, and Captain Afash,, who were released from from the prisons of the Houthi militia within the first phase of of the prisoner exchange process that started yesterday, Friday.

 

President al-Alimi expressed sincere congratulations on his own behalf,  and on behalf of members of the Presidential Leadership Council to the two ‏released heroes ,their families and to all families who were reunited with their loved ones after years of detention and disappearance in the prisons of The Iran-backed Houthi militia.

 

His excellency President al-Alimi reassured the families of the other prisoners that will reunited  with their sons soon and that they are making every effort to close this humanitarian file. hoping that this step will represent a  hopeful sign  for  ending the suffering , and building on it in achieving a comprehensive and just peace in the country..

 

The meeting was attended by the Director of the Office of the Presidency of the Republic, Dr. Yahya Al-Shuaibi.
